  9. haha me too Mandy! I told Michael on my 30th birthday I wanted to do a WOD rxd- apparently it's not the CrossFit way to prescribe a WOD that someone LIKES on their bday, but rather a WOD full of movements they DON'T like! :(

  11. What a morning!Sometimes you look at a wod on the board and just know it's going to be a SUCKFEST! It took me a long time to get my head right before pressing start on the clock today!

Great to see the team have the courage to go after this one hard. The more often we put ourselves in these difficult situations the stronger we become.

Girls, writing your first Rxd on the board is a great goal and a common one for many CrossFitters. People work for months and even years to hit their first Rxd. The only way to get good at CrossFit is to do CrossFit. You must identify your weakness and turn it into your strength.

Great to see Michael take the big step up to a 24kg Kettlebell today, it's amazing how much tougher they are with another 8kg's in your hands.

  12. The scary thing about the kb swings today was the amount of sweat after the run and d/u's. Damn summer. Trying to keep a strong grip was tough.

  13. I know mate, I felt the heat today to!

On warm days it's not a bad idea to have a gym towl close by. The heavy bell really tests out your grip strength but before long you'll have forearms like an icecream salesman.
